Why Traditional Hand Therapy is NOT Helping With your Thumb Pain

Traditional hand therapy can be great for some thumb pain and injuries such as fractures or ligament tears that require surgery.

But what about the chronic thumb pain that seems to come from nowhere? The kind of thumb pain that lingers – gets better and then gets worse?

But traditional hand therapy might not help you if you have these symptoms:

1. Anything where you feel the pain deep-deep inside
2. Anything that might make you feel numb on the back of your hand or back of your thumb
3. Anything here your hand feels tired or heavy doing just a little bit. It just doesn't feel the same as the other hand
4. It’s chronic – I mean years.

Here a few reasons and what you can do to get answers
